Dear All,

Is it possible to extract the following information about an invoice:
Who validated it along with timestamp?
Who posted it along with timestamp?

I haven't tried it myself, but I think the invoice history module is what you need to do that.

Installing that should then enable your system to keep an audit trail of all actions applied to your invoices.

No it does not. It allows to see related field at the date of the
posting but it does not historize the invoice records.

Indeed I guess the same design as what was done on shipment could be
implemented https://bugs.tryton.org/issue6183
It probably makes sense to it also for Sale, Purchase and Invoice.

Thanks for the response.

For the time being, does it make sense to get this info using following steps:

1) To get who validated the invoice, get the 'create_uid' of the 'Move' created against the invoice. The 'Move' is created in state 'draft' when someone clicks on 'Validate' button.

2) To get who posted the invoice, get the 'write_uid' of the 'Move' against this invoice when the 'post_number' is available.

Regards,
Khurram.
