I just wanted to download the version 3.8.6 of the Tryton client for windows, when I found out that there is none available on https://downloads.tryton.org/3.8/. The latest version which can be found there for windows and mac is 3.8.4. I would be glad to find the updated installers there.

I'm still busy on my free time with the release 4.0 (writing Ebuilds ≃30).
Once it is done, I will work on building latest clients.

By the way, if someone wants to help on building releases, we can give
access rights to the Foundation machines. But only if the person commit
to do it frequently.

Thank you, but building openSSUE packages keeps me busy enough. The change to
python 3 needed some rework on the nearly 100 packages....

Maybe it's a crazy idea, but won't be possible to trigger the builds on
mac and windows machines via a hook on mercurial a new tag is pushed?

P.S: It's also applicable to uploading releases to pypi.

Yes that should be doable. But I'm just worry that from times to times,
such build succeed but the result is not working for any reason (missing
library etc.).
Also on those machine, it is good to update regularly the environment as
it is embedded.

The tagging is part of the release process, see do_{major,minor}_release
