Hi!

We are planning to implement tryton at a hospital in Tanzania.

How do i add my own account chart to tryton.
Is there a good guide somewhere so i can understand how to do it?
I have tried to find a solution for several hours

Kind regards

Ulf

you'll not find much information about this topic. But you may
study the basics with the Minimal Account Chart provided by the account
module and refer to the account module documentation, which introduces
the conception of account charts:
http://doc.tryton.org/4.2/modules/account/doc/index.html

Then take a look to other modules providing charts of accounts like
account_de_* account_fr_* …

There is also some more or less useful aged documentation draft:
https://github.com/udono/tryton/blob/wiki/HowtoCreateAChartOfAccounts.md

Do not hesitate to ask, when you have more specific questions.

Hello everybody.

In 2014 I did some spadework with a datamodel for accounting. In the meantime the address has disapeared in a crash. However I have restored it. You can download the results from www.mazurkiewicz.org/tryton.
You will find a datamodel prered in Oracle DataModeler (licence does not forbid using it for non oracle databases). So you can even download the datamodeler and work on the model. Diagrams use Oracle denotations.

I am also interested in documenting the subject so I will  react to the posts. However I am only a tryton spectator.

Kind regards

Some time ago, we develop a tool to create our account chart from a csv
file[0]. The csv file can be found here[1] and the account types are
here[2]. It was develop when we were starting with Tryton v2.8. So,
probably it will not add the party_required field to the accounts that
are payable or receivable.

If you think it could be a tool to add to tryton, I will create a bug.
