Church Family!

Thanks to all who helped with clean-up day! We made huge strides!  I pray the Lord redeems your time!

We are looking forward to our gathering together after 2 weeks!  We will be hearing a fresh word from Dr. David Jackson Sunday morning and anticipating spirit-filled worship and fellowship! We will also be hearing from other preachers throughout the months of February and March, so please join us!

We will also have Session 2 of the Fasting Practicing the Way class—Growing in Holiness. In this session, we will discuss the amazing testimony of John Mark Comer’s wife and what fasting did to break a generational curse!  Please join us in the conference room immediately following service. Please join us!

Here are reminders and fellowship opportunities:

1. There will be a solemn assembly at ABBA’s House in Tennessee on March 1st from 6-8pm. The leadership team from ABBA’s House Stone Mountain will be attending. If you would like to attend, we could plan a carpool. We will discuss in service Sunday. You may find more details here

2. If you are interested in assisting with the re-launch of the food ministry, we will forward a sign up link and provide information in the near future! The Lord has blessed us with a CDL driver, which is an answer to prayer!

Stephen Barrett: complete healing. For Susan, please pray for STAMINA in her body, soul, and spirit! If you are able to help in supporting them, please see me. 

Megan Shelton:  has been transported to inpatient rehabilitation in Henry County for intensive rehab to strengthen her extremities. Please continue to pray for her and the entire Shelton family as they navigate this. Pray for complete healing and deliverance in Jesus name!

Emme: (Linda Marwede’s granddaughter): Healing from thyroid cancer. Also pray for Mimi and a mother’s heart as she supports her daughter!

Rebecca Miller’s mom, Joretta:   has been released from the hospital and after a broken hip was able to walk into her home!  Praise Jesus! Please pray for Rebecca as Joretta’s primary caregiver for wisdom and direction on how to serve her mom this season of life.  If you are able to assist with  meals, Rebecca would be grateful!  Please see me if you are available.

Hello church family!

I pray this reaches you prospering in God’s presence!  The leadership team is looking forward to seeing you in church tomorrow morning. We will have a guest speaker, pastor Bryan Davis, bringing the word tomorrow. Please be in the House to worship and receive the rhema word he has prepared for Abba’s House Stone Mountain!

As I write this email, a team from Abba’s House should be at the church, determining the best way for us to connect to the community and Abba’s House as we continue to work towards our partnership! Once we determine all that is needed, we will have another church-wide workday to reconfigure and upgrade the sanctuary!  We will forward more details once we have the equipment to do so. 

We are currently in session 3 of Practicing the Way: Fasting. Why do we fast? This week is the exploration of how fasting amplifies our prayers.

We have heard that some have not been able to give online. Lolly Buffington has been working with our third-party vendor, Servant Keeper, to rectify the problem. She indicated:

Food Ministry:  We are exploring the re-launch of our food ministry and will be meeting with the Atlanta Community Food Bank the beginning of March to work out the details. We will need a committed volunteer base to minister to our community with excellence. If you are interested in serving, please let Jannie Hughes know. We will have a formal sign-up once we have more details on dates/times, etc.
