DON'T LOOK AT THE IMPOSSIBILITIES

You know I will never ask you to do something impossible.  It may look impossible; it may sound impossible; it may feel impossible.  Remember this:  nothing is impossible to the one who believes.  So believe when I give you an instruction that I will grace you, strengthen you, and help you, in every way, to obey the command.  Believe there is a strength to endure the rough terrain on the journey.  Believe there is a reward waiting for you.  Stay focused on the promise, and it will carry you through.

Matthew 19:26

"Jesus looked at them intently and said, 'Humanly speaking, it is impossible.  But with God everything is possible.' "

Luke 1:37

"For the Word of God will never fail."

Jeremiah 32:17

"O Sovereign Lord!  You made the heavens and earth by Your strong hand and powerful arm.  Nothing is too hard for You."

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, You are just and Your Word is pure.  Sometimes what You ask me to do stretches me beyond what I think I can bear, but You know better.  Help my unbelief.  Help me reject the doubt that clouds my faith.  Teach me how to stay my mind on the finish line, so I can win my crown.
