DON'T FELLOWSHIP WITH MISERY

You've heard it said, "Misery loves company."  I say to you this is true.  Misery loves the company of self-pity, depression, frustration, anger, apathy, complacency, and other spirits you have no business fellowshipping with.  Misery loves company, but I will not fellowship with misery.  Misery has no place in My presence.  In My presence, there is fullness of joy, fullness of peace, fullness of power, fullness of everything you need.  Move away from misery and into My love, and you'll have a new outlook.

Romans 12:2

"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new pe3rson by changing the way yo think.  Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

Romans 15:13

"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace, because you trust in Him.  Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."

Proverbs 17:22

"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength."

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, misery is certainly miserable, and I've spend too much time in that place during my life.  Help me avoid this snare of the enemy.  Help me avoid the trap of self-pity, apathy, complacency, and the other little foxes that spoil my vine.  Help me shake off all of this and enter Your presence.
