DON'T MOVE TOO FAST

Sometimes things can look like My will, sound like My will, feel like My will, smell like My will, and taste like My will.....but they are not My will.  Don't move too fast.  Don't go by what your natural senses show you, or what people tell you.  Well-meaning people can give you poor advice.  Facts can be deceiving.  People can be deceiving.  Your own heart can be deceiving.  Pray it through and wait on Me.  I will never deceive you.

Romans 12:2

"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.  Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

Jeremiah 17:9

"The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked.  Who really knows how bad it is?"

Micah 7:7

"As for me, I look to the Lord for help.  I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me."

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, what wisdom You share.  You know I have a tendency to move too fast sometimes.  Help me discern rightly where You are leading me.  Help me stay on pace with Your plans.  Teach me to resist the temptation to move beyond Your great grace.
