I am not disappointed in you when you fall. I am not angry with you when you stumble. I am not shocked when you miss the mark. I know the end from the beginning. All of your days are written in a book. I do not rejoice when you fall, stumble, or miss the mark, and it does not take Me by surprise; it does not cause Me to stop loving you; it does not change Father's plan for you. So stop being disappointed in yourself when you fall, angry with yourself when you stumble, and shocked when you miss the mark. Just repent and keep going.
Hebrews 4:16
"So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us, when we need it most."
John 1:9
"But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all wickedness."
Psalm 86:5
"O Lord, You are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help."
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I'm so grateful for Your long-suffering and mercy. Your mercies are new every day. Help me embrace this truth, in order to combat the guilt and shame that attack my mind, when I miss the mark. Teach me how to receive your forgiveness and continue on my journey.
