CHOOSE ADORATION OVER AGGRAVATION

Aggravation will get you nowhere.  Adoration will take you places, in Me, that will refresh your soul, give you a new perspective, and strengthen your heart for the day ahead.  Why not let go of the aggravations and frustrations that weigh you down?  Why not lay aside those weights, so that you don't step into besetting sins?  Why not meditate on the Word and fellowship with Me, instead of meditating on the negative thoughts the enemy is planting in your soul?  Why not decide to draw a line in the spiritual sand and think on things that are good, true, and lovely?  You'll be much more content, if you choose this better path.

Hebrews 1:3

"The Son radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character of God, and He sustains everything, by the mighty power of His command.  When He had cleansed us from our sins, He sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the Majestic God in Heaven."

Revelation 5:13

"And then I heard every creature in Heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and in the sea.  They sang: 

'Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.' "

Matthew 22:37

Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind."

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, help me trade aggravation for adoration.  Help me make this divine exchange, so that I can receive Your refreshing in the middle of a frustrating day.  Help me resist the temptation to be irritated by the annoying circumstances that bog me down.
