DON'T LINGER ON DISAPPOINTMENTS

Disappointments are bound to come.....and they will go.  They will fade away, unless you linger on them.  Life is full of situations, circumstances, and events that don't go the way you hoped.  If you decide to trust Me with your disappointments, instead of dwelling on them, then you will gain strength and perspective that will help you move forward with confidence that I am working all things together for your good.  Trust Me. I am on your side.

Romans 8:28

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God, and are called according to His purpose for them."

Genesis 50:20

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good."

Psalm 112:7

"They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them."

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I've lived long enough to know this, yet disappointment still stings.  Still, I know Father really is working everything together for good, because I love Him and am called according to His purpose.  Please help me stand on that promise.
