MAKE ROOM FOR MORE OF ME

Receive Me.  Receive more of Me.  Make room in your heart for My wisdom, My gifts, My fruit, My power.......make room for Me.  Making room for more of Me means setting aside heavy weights.  Set aside worry.  Set aside the world's distractions.  Set aside bad memories from the past that slow you down.  When you let go of these things, you will be able to reach new depths in My love.  I will shed My love abroad in your heart, so you can pour out that love to others, for the glory of Jesus.

Hebrews 12:1

"Since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up.  And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us."

Philippians 3:13-14

"No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing:  Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us."

Romans 5:5

"And this hope will not lead to disappointment.  For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love."

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I will decrease, so You can increase.  I will crucify my flesh, so there is more room for You.  I will die daily to the things of this world.  I will deny myself and carry my cross.  I ask only one thing, as I set out to do this.......
