You should know this by now, but I will tell you again: complaining won't do you any good. Complaining won't change anything. Complaining does not change the spiritual climate over your life. In fact, it makes it worse. Turn your groaning into praising. Turn your grumbling into thanksgiving. Turn your griping into worship. As you do, you will shift your mind and heart toward answers to the issues you are complaining about.

Philippians 2:14

"Do everything without complaining and arguing..."

Ephesians 4:29

"Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them."

James 5:9

"Don't grumble about each other, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. For look.....the Judge is standing at the door!"

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I know it does me no good to complain. It only makes me miserable, yet I moan and groan more than I'd like to admit. Help me keep Your praise on my lips. Show me the things that are praiseworthy and help me set my mind on excellent things that evoke worship in my heart.
