STOP LOOKING AT WHAT WENT WRONG

When things don't seem to go your way, look the other way.  In other words, when your day doesn't go the way you planned it, when you run into unforeseen problems that detail your agenda, and when you experience setbacks, that truly set you back, stop looking at what went wrong.  Start looking at what is right.  Start looking at Me.  Start listening for My voice, start expecting Me to show you a way over, around or through.  Everything is not going to go your way all the time.  You know that, but you can react to this from a place of peaceful assurance.....or you can react out of a place of dismay.  It depends on where you put your focus.  Focus on Me.

Psalm 27:4

"The one thing I ask of the Lord.....the thing I seek most.....is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in His Temple."

John 10:27

"My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me."

Isaiah 26:3

"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You."

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, when things don't go my way, I still trust that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  Please remind me not to focus on what went wrong, but on the One who is right.....the One who is righteous.  Help me focus on You, even when everything around me is trying to distract my heart.
