Sometimes you have to ask more than once. Sometimes you have to ask more than twice. Sometimes you have to ask over and over. Sometimes you have to ask and keep on asking. You have to knock and keep on knocking. You have to wait and keep on waiting. But when you ask, no matter how many times you ask, ask in faith. Knock with expectance. Wait with excitement. When you ask anything according to the Word, Father hears you. And you know, if He hears you, He will answer you. The answer may not come right away, but it will come. So keep asking and be encouraged; Father is listening. Your petitions are not falling on deaf ears.
Matthew 7:7
"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you."
1 John 5:15
"And since we know He hears us, when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for."
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, give me the determination of the persistent widow in Luke 18, who wearied the judge until he heard her cries and answered her plea. Help me stay steadfast in my faith, while I wait for the answer to manifest. Help me endure the waiting period with joy, because I know Father hears me.
