I have written a couple of times about my 19 year old daughter,
Elizabeth, who recently was baptized and then endowed and married in
the Temple (Dec. 2008).

She came to me yesterday, and said she is ready to leave the LDS
church, and realizes she has seriously sinned by putting her desires
for marriage to her husband above her devotion to the True and Living
God, and by devastating her husband of four months (a devout, returned
missionary). He is being gracious and will not "out" her until she is
ready, and has even said he would visit church (evangelical) with her
occasionally. The issue of divorce has come up, but they both agree
they still love each other AND desire to honor their commitment.
Future children are in question.

Please continue prayer for her, and for us as we walk her through
this. Most particularly, please pray for Paul, her husband. We
understand why he is so hurt, as he thought he was marrying a truly
converted girl. But, also, we are trusting and believing that he will
come to true faith through all this. We love them both.

Thanks and Love in Christ,
Judi

Hi Judi!
We will certainly pray for Elizabeth and Paul. May Elizabeth
keep attuned to God's voice and direction as she goes through this
trying time. May you all feel His presence and love these days,
weeks, and months ahead. God is good and gracious. He is full of
love and forgiveness. What an amazing God He is!

Warm hugs,
Lori
