Hi! I'm new at message boards, but this one speaks right to my
concerns. We have a Christian home and our children attended
Christian schools. My son who is now 31 prayed for a sweet Christian
wife. He then met a sweet girl who is multi-generational LDS. He
converted and then they married last summer. We talk but not about
the teachings of the LDS. I am able to talk with my daughter-in-law
about the LDS teachings. At times it has been very frustrating to me
and my husband and the other family members. Many times I have cried
over the way that Mormons are so trapped in their beliefs. I welcome
any support as Truth in Love Ministry has been a fantastic support to
my family in the last year.
Thanks,
Sue

I have been praying for your family and my heart goes out to you.
The
only thing i can say is to show them that you love them, but tell
them
or at least your son, lovingly that the Mormon faith leads to death
and I am talking about spirtual death and separation from God. I
have
a lot of Mormon in-laws that are not practicing but still hold on to
what their church teaches. I just pray for them every night and
continue to love them as Christ loves them. God has bigger plans
with
our lives then what we come up with in our minds. Maybe your son
will
turn back to Christ and repent and possible be a witness for his in-
laws. Maybe his in-laws will turn to Christ through this event. I
pray that God will change his heart and change the in-laws hearts
back
to Christ and toward the truth. Just love them and be there for your
son and pay close attention to the opportunities God will give you
and
your husband to speak the truth to your in-laws and son.

In my prayers,
Sarah
