370 Visio shapes and symbols in 19 Visio stencils (in both US units and metric units, in Visio VSSX format) for you to create drawings of domestic and industrial electrical installations, lighting plans, wiring plans, power generation and distribution, process control and fire and security systems. All the shapes have connection points at suitable locations. Use the standard Visio connector tool or any connector from the connectors stencils to join the shapes. Some shapes have a right-click menu e.g. many of the switches symbols have a menu to select open or closed contacts (and the switch moves - you can use this to animate the switches).

also includes electronic circuits).However, so far I have been successfully using the Visio 2003 Standard to
draw electronic circuits. It works fine with using component shapes from
Stencil, connecting them, defining custom properties and finally generating
Bill Of Material lists (by using Visio Reports function).So, are there any extra useful features of the Pro version, which would
justify the price difference between those two versions?
Visio Pro comes with stencils for electrical eng. and electronics, 3rd party shapes are
available that work with either Visio Standard or Pro. Some of these may already have
custom properties defined as well as offering more variety than the built-in shapes.
