I love card games Magic and Star Realms. However I like to have an option to play offline, especially if the game has a campaign mode. Games like Magic Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 (my favorite, but unfortunately it stopped working with newer versions of iOS), 2014, 2015, and Star Realms, you can progress the campaign and earn whatever rewards that come with it. And every time you go online the game will sync your progress. On the other hand games like Magic Duels, or Shadow Era, will advertise an offline mode, but their offline mode only allows you to play the game, but not save your progress. This is very frustrating especially in Magic Duels.

How to play: depending on how many people are playing, the dealer gives out cards one at a time, face down. For two players, each player gets 10 cards; for three or four players, seven cards; five or six players, six cards. The remaining cards are placed face down on the table in a stockpile. To start the game, the dealer turns over the top card on the stock pile and puts it face up next to the stack. Then, the player to the left of the dealer either takes the card turned up, or takes one from the stockpile and adds to their hand, and replaces one of their own to the face up pile. If the player has any sets, they can lay them down, face up, on the table.
As the play continues, players may also add more cards from their hand to any matched set they have already laid down. So, if they have laid down three threes, and pick up a fourth one, they can add it. Or, if they have a 10, 9, and 8 laid down, they could add a jack or a 7 etc.
How to play: sit opposite each other, split the deck equally and then start to place the cards in front of you, in five spaces - the first, face up, and the next four face down. Do this again, starting with the second card along, placing one on top face up, and the next three face down. Continue this until the final card has one face up card with four face down cards beneath it.
If at any time your face up cards are the same number, you can place them on top of each other - essentially freeing up another face down card to be turned over - but you can only put them in the middle one at a time. When you use all of the cards in a pile, you can place a card from a different pile in its space to reveal the card below it.
If you get to a point where none of the cards in either of your five piles are able to be put in the middle, count to three and, at the same time, turn over another card from your extra pile. Then continue to play. You can do this multiple times, but only if both players cannot use any of their cards.
I love that the player came with a welcome card that introduces you to Yoto. What some people might not know is that this welcome card can also be used as your first Make Your Own (MYO) card.
The key thing you remember for this feature is that you need to allow your Yoto enough time to download the card remotely before taking your Yoto on offline adventures. You can do this by leaving the card in the Yoto and letting the audio files play. Your Yoto will automatically download the files to the Yoto.
The Yoto player is good for all ages whereas the Toniebox is better for younger kids. Children like to play with the figurines (aka Tonies) which can be good or bad for some parents. Good, because they are more easily engaged with the Toniebox and take to it easier. Bad, because it can be distracting and cause them to only play with the figurines.
If your Yoto is having trouble downloading, try removing the card from the Yoto and leaving it on the charger overnight. You can check in your app the download progress of your Yoto library. Make sure you are connected to your Wi-Fi.
well i had to do another archive game save data for some of my digital games. then had to reformat my micro sd card where it should be able to load up and play the digital games that Im redownloading blah blah.

Just like a PC, you'll need to be online to download games and play online multiplayer games. Once a game is installed on disk, you can play while Steam Deck is offline unless the game requires an internet connection.
Settler 2 now gets to take a special turn. Settler 2 may also trade and build as much as they wish, with the following exception: Settler 2 MAY NOT trade with other players (domestic trade). However, Settler 2 is allowed to trade with the supply (maritime trade). Settler 2 then ends their trade and build phase.
