Phase XI - Supporting Amma Foundation:

As always, thank you for the continued support. This time TrueIndia is aiming to empower the kids of "Amma Foundation" as a part of Phase XI.

Amma foundation: An Indian non government Organization (NGO) working towards restoring basic rights of survival to children at the budding stage to give them a better future. Amma Foundation is a formidable set up that ensures a bondage/link between the deprived children and the people who are ready to help through different modes that include money,Clothing, food, shelter, medicine, education etc.
They started their service with 9 children in the year 2005 and at present they have extended their service to 30-40 children (only boys). This organization is run by Mr. Anil Kumar who is working as a screen printer in Kamineni hospitals.

Aksharodaya Project update:

As you all know we are presently supporting Sumanth for his intermediate education as a part of Phase III.FYI He achieved grade "A” in his IPE (first year).

Make A Wish- September 2010:

"September Birthday Celebrations" -It was a pleasant short day at Divya Disha on Sunday. Our volunteers reached DD at 10:30 AM.

The Verizon group were conducting computer classes for the kids, and also had a test lined up after the class. Also, the kids have their Quarterly Exams from 30th, so we had to cut short the event to just Cake Cutting and Distributing. We got a 30 - 40 minutes slot after their class and conducted the event.
