Overview
The client is in the process of standing up a
new component of their system that will follow a microservices
architecture. They are exploring to what degree they want to take it so
not a lot of decisions made yet. They are very interested in standing up a
DevOps capability to help with CI/CD. They have picked no platforms yet
but know they want to have it be part of their initial effort in this
space.
They would like an experienced engineer who
could help them design and implement a solution. I would expect the
approach to be somewhat fluid and that this person could provide
recommendations for various technology choices to support their approach
as they flush it out. They think they need an engineer type person who can
help inform them and also implement it with them.
Skills:
Strong Knowledge of CI/CD tools and strategies
Experience with Automation and orchestration
tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef
Knowledge of AppSec best practices
Expert level knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure
tech operations and management; specifically around IaaS & PaaS
services
Familiarity with modern dev languages; Knowledge
of GO is a plus
