Position : Data Management Associate

Type of Hire : Contract
Duration: 
12 months, potential for extension, potential for contract to hire
Location: Houston, TX (No Remote) In-Office Expectation: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote

 Summary:
The main function of a Data Management Associate is to support the organization’s data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility by managing and maintaining databases and data systems. A typical Data Management Associate is responsible for data entry, validation, reporting, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards.

Job Responsibilities:

·Looking for someone who has experience with the Atlan Tool or any data governance tools (i.e. Monte Carlo and Adlinum)

·Enter, update, and maintain data in internal systems and databases with a high level of accuracy.

·Perform regular data quality checks and resolve inconsistencies or errors.

·Assist in the development and maintenance of data documentation and standard operating procedures.

·Generate reports and summaries to support business operations and decision-making.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data needs are met and maintained.

·Support data audits and ensure compliance with internal and external data management policies.

 

Skills:

·Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and validation.

·Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database systems.

·Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends or discrepancies.

·Strong organizational and time management skills.

·Effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical teams.

·Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

 Education/Experience:

·Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, or a related field required.

·5-7 years’ experience
