Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Program Manager with strong Banking, Payments, and Blockchain/DLT experience to lead enterprise-scale payment modernization and digital asset initiatives from planning through production implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Banking Payments and Blockchain/DLT programs, including POCs, implementation, integrations, testing, and production rollout.
• Manage program roadmaps, budgets, resources, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive reporting.
• Drive payment modernization initiatives involving ACH, Wire Transfers, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT, ISO 20022, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Business, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, Operations, QA, and vendors.
• Oversee blockchain use cases involving smart contracts, tokenized assets, distributed settlement, and digital payments.
• Manage APIs, microservices, cloud integrations, security, identity, privacy, and legacy banking system integration.
• Drive Agile/SAFe delivery, PI planning, release planning, steering committees, and program governance.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with strong Program/Technical Program Management expertise.
• Extensive Banking/Financial Services and Payments modernization experience.
• Working knowledge of ACH, Wire, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT, and ISO 20022.
• Hands-on program delivery experience involving Blockchain/DLT or Digital Assets.
• Understanding of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, distributed transactions, APIs, microservices, cloud, security, and data privacy.
• Strong experience in enterprise integrations, Agile/SAFe, SDLC, risk management, and vendor management.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or Scrum certification.
• Tier-1 banking experience and regulated, high-volume transaction platforms.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, CI/CD, and enterprise integration patterns.

Location: Charlotte, NC (Local Candidates)

Job Description

Seeking a hands-on Payments Architect with 12+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in banking/payments architecture, Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. The candidate will design scalable, secure, highly available payment-processing solutions and provide technical leadership across application, integration, database, infrastructure, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design payment-processing architecture for high-volume, resilient, and distributed systems.
• Lead technical design reviews, API and messaging integrations, and architectural decisions.
• Provide hands-on guidance across Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Oracle/SQL, infrastructure, and security.
• Drive performance optimization, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, QA, database, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Required Skills
