Job Description:

Role: Lead Data Engineer with Java
Location : Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Type : Contract

Data Science with Java

•       Oracle PL/SQL, Data Migration, Load / Performance testing. Java, Rest API’s
•       Build and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django REST Framework, and Flask, following established performance, security, and coding standards.
•       Develop modular system components and contribute to improving application reliability, performance, and maintainability.
•       Assist with data processing and asynchronous workflows using Pandas, NumPy, and frameworks such as Celery or PySpark.

• Mainly looking for Lead Data Engineers with Java knowledge with AWS being nice to have.
• Essential Skills:  mainly looking for Lead Data Engineers with Java knowledge with AWS being nice to have. Scope includes
• Understanding the current application| features and the product
• Understanding the current data structure and the data (in Oracle database)Collaborate with business| application team and 3rd party vendors to formulate POC scenarios| execution plan and data requirements| etc. Gather all the data required for POC| anonymizescrub| format per new SPM product needs. Develop any scripts or code required for data extraction and migration from current infrastructure to new 3rd party SPM product (API based and file transfers) Performance and load testing will be critical part of the POC to evaluate if the new product(s) meet Apples SLA standards Products evaluated will be deployed in SaaS (likely AWS hosted by SPM vendor)| so SaaS understanding is greatly beneficial
• Good communication| analytics thinking and problem solving are must haves to be effective in the role Experience in Sales Performance Management is a big plus| as space is quite niche and fairly complex
