The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Field Service (OFS/OFSC) Functional Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of field service management solutions. You will act as the bridge between business operations and technical implementation, ensuring the OFS platform is optimized to improve technician productivity, dispatcher efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You should possess deep knowledge of field service business processes and the configuration capabilities of the Oracle Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders (dispatch managers, field technicians, operations leaders) to understand current processes and pain points.
* Translate business requirements into functional design documents for the Oracle Field Service Cloud solution.
* Perform hands-on configuration of the OFS environment, including:
* Resource management (Skills, work zones, calendars).
* Work order types and lifecycles.
* Automated routing and scheduling rules (bucket configuration, routing plans).
* Quota and capacity management.
* User interface configuration (forms, views) for both browser and mobile app.
* Design and configure customer communication workflows (SMS/Email notifications via OFS).
* Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), define test scripts, and triage issues.
* Create training materials and deliver training to dispatchers, administrators, and field technicians.
* Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements with CRM (e.g., Oracle Service Cloud, Salesforce) or ERP systems.
Required Qualifications:
* 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring Oracle Field Service Cloud (formerly TOA Technologies).
* Proven experience in at least 2 full-lifecycle OFS implementations.
* Deep understanding of field service operations concepts: routing optimization, SLA management, technician skill management, and forecasting.
* Strong analytical skills to translate complex business needs into software configurations without over-customizing.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Oracle Field Service Cloud certified implementation specialist.
* Experience with the broader Oracle CX suite (Oracle Service Cloud/B2C Service, Engagement Cloud).
