Job Title: Coupa Technical Lead/Architect
Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: long Term Contract
Role Description This is a contract role for a Coupa Techno-Functional Architect with Google (FT Consulting). The role involves designing and implementing Coupa-based solutions, managing software integration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for efficient project delivery. The architect will be responsible for creating architectural designs and ensuring seamless execution of projects. This is a hybrid role based in Mountain View, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications 10+ years of total experience in related tools and technologies.
· 6+ years of experience as Coupa Solution/Technical Architect.
· Strong knowledge of Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Invoicing, Expenses, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contract, and Analytics modules.
· Hands-on experience with Coupa SIM configuration and S2P processes, including supplier onboarding, workflows, and data objects.
· Strong integration skills using Coupa REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, query filtering, pagination, and error handling.
· Ability to design complex SIM integrations with ERP backends (SAP/Oracle), including advanced mapping logic, validations, and reconciliation.
· Experience with integration design documentation and SFTP/file-based integrations (CSV/XML/JSON), including secure setup and monitoring.
· Proficiency in REST APIs (JSON / XML) along with API Filters and Flat File approach. Strong background in enterprise architecture principles, data modelling, and cloud security.
· Deep understanding in Coupa functionalities such as Chart of Accounts, Approvals, SIM Forms, content groups, account validation rules, Lookups, Lookup Values, Custom fields, Taxation process, etc.
· Coupa Certification(s) (Integration Architect, Platform, or Module-specific) is an added advantage. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
· Ability to think and assess situations logically and make decisions in a highly dynamic environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to clearly document processes and requirements.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
· Strong communication and leadership skills to interact with cross-functional teams and leadership teams.
