Hey, that reminds me: Eudemonia (on University Ave., near the UC
campus) has a pretty good "scene" going on Thursday nights, where a
group called Berkeley Board Gamers gather from 7-11. They also have
nights at Games of Berkeley. They have a website:
berkeleyboardgamers.com, which takes you over to their meetup page.

Been to Tues night @ Games of Berkeley and Thurs night @ Eudemonia.
Great group of people, nice turnout, fun games.
My new game-learning experience is that
* I MUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS * before playing
if I want to have any hope of following what's going on
in the newest really complicated games.
Still, it's been really cool -- and I've learned a bunch o'games.
