My son tried to turn his tablet on but held the volume key at same time as power button, a message came up saying if you proceed it will download something so my husband tried to cancel or go back but the only button that would respond to being pressed was the volume key and now the tablet is frozen on a screen with the Android pic and writing in top left corner showing product: GT-P5210, current binary: samsung official and system status: Official
Best bet is to let the battery die completely, then charge it and turn it on normally. I just put a tab 3 into download mode myself after reading this post to see if there was an easy way out, none of the normal methods work (power + vol down/up/home). So from what i can see you just gotta drain it then charge it :) hope this helps.
If your Galaxy Tab S2 is locked in "Downloading...Do not remove target..." mode, you will need to pull the battery. I know you're thinking the battery is not removable on this device, and you're right.
Everybody seems have a complex way of solving this, but my galaxy tab 2 7.0" gets out of that screen simply by 'holding the power button for a few seconds'. It turns off and then you just turn it back on ( hopefully booting into the OS unlike mine currently is haha .. personal separate issue tho

1.Test before installation
-When testing, do not remove any protective film or tags. Please pay attention to the problem of static electricity.

3.Do not over-bend cable
-Please make sure LCD cable is not over-bend. Over 90 degrees bent will cause black display.
