All Scouts must present themselves to their Patrol Leader for inspection at check-in to demonstrate they are properly prepared and packed for this campout.

Fire starter
Sun protection (small sunscreen container)
Rain gear (Poncho – be prepared for the possibility rain on this trip.)
Change of clothes
Sleeping bag (Hammock is NOT a substitute)
Mess kit
Cleanup kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, & washcloth)
Hiking boots or shoes
Money for an early lunch on Sunday (Suggest $6-$10)
Scout Cold-Weather Essentials (Temp. range expected to be a low of 44 and a high of 83)

Be prepared to layer your clothes at night.

We are NOT taking the trailer with us. Anything you need from the trailer needs to be checked our from the Quartermaster and put in Mr. Swisher’s truck.

For dinner we will divide into Patrols and cook using Dutch Ovens:
Patrol 1 (Sharks & Panthers) - Main Dish - Steak Soup with vegetables
Patrol 2 (Falcons & all others) - Cornbread
Patrol 3 (Adults) - Apple Cobbler
For this campout only - the SPL is purchasing the food for the entire Troop’s dinner. Please give the SPL $5 to cover your share of the supplies for dinner. This is in addition to the $5 in gas money you will give your driver Saturday morning.

We will NOT be stopping for breakfast on our way to the park Saturday morning. Please eat breakfast in advance and bring appropriate food for a 2.5 hour road trip.
