URGENT - RE: Troop Trash Pickup at Rowing Events

Hopefully these two emails didn’t go completely un-noticed. I told Joel that we would cover his April events, so we probably need to figure out who can actually cover them :-/
April 1 is THIS WEEKEND.
FYI, we have declined to perform trash duty at RenFest this year, as our numbers are too small to support that any longer. If we had any doubt, the giant crowds they pulled on our weekend last October should have cured us of them. (That was a monster weekend!)
Likewise, the Flying Pig event requires too many people for us to get involved with.
But… unlike those heavy RenFest days, the regatta duties are pretty light. One or two people can manage them.
Daryll, do you think the Cub Pack would like to be involved in this also? Maybe they will want to take it over as an easy way to put money in the bank?

Are you available for the early start at “7:30 or 8:00” as suggested by Joel?
I would say that there isn’t much need first thing in the morning, EXCEPT (!) that if some teams arrived Friday night they will have filled up the can down at the launch dock, next to the portalet. And maybe the cans up at the concession stand.
I am flying in from California overnight Friday, arriving Saturday morning. I am not sure how quickly I will be able to offer any help. Mr. Rouse is in Canada this weekend.
