Here is some information about our 2017 Popcorn Sales campaign.
Take orders have begun.
Sales flyer were mailed to scouts. See me for additional flyers if needed.
All take orders and full payments must be submitted by Monday Oct. 23. Can be done prior to the Scout meeting on the 23rd (starting at 6pm).
All take order products must be picked up on Sunday Nov. 19th at 31 Ashley Drive in Ballston Lake between 1pm and 3pm.
I am attaching a quick email sheet showing all items listed on the take order form. This can be used to email friends, family, co-works, etc. to help you collect and increase your orders.
Don’t forget about on-line sales (see attached flyer)
All existing on-line accounts should confirm Troop number and personal information are correct.
- All scouts (coming from different units) need to update unit number to show Troop 4246 and confirm personal information is correct.
To create a new on-line account:
- Go to trails-end.com
- Click “Register” in the upper right corner
- If scout is 13 or older, they can create the account for themselves and signs in as a “Scout”
- Under 13, the parent must sign in as “Parent”
- Follow prompts to create account (name of scout and parent name) and submit. May take a day for all detailed information to show on line.
- Get as detailed as you like, pictures, goals, stories,…
- Spread the word via social media, phone calls, word of mouth. Reach out to faraway friends and family and ask them to celebrate scouting with you.
Remember, you need to sell $150 via traditional take orders or $100 on line to cover the popcorn sales requirement for our troop. All additional sales profit will be kept in a scout account (30% take order or 50% on-line sales) to be used for scout related needs. These funds can be used for camp, Jamboree, eagle scout projects, equipment, uniform, dues, etc.
