Template Available Here America’s 250th Anniversary is Coming in 2026! Monmouth Council Shoulder Patch Contest   We want you to design our next shoulder patch!  Monmouth County will celebrate not only the birth of the greatest nation in the world, but the significant role our county played in the fight for independence. To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Monmouth County and commemorate the entering of our 119 years of Scouting, we are launching a competition, open to all scouts and scouters, to choose a new Council Shoulder Patch (CSP) design.   Submissions for the new design will be accepted, using the form below, until August 27th, 2025   There will be a $100 prize for the designer of the winning patch!  Follow the links to the documents below for more information and for entry details!   CSP Design Requirements For our new patch to meet national standards, all patches must meet the following requirements: The patch must contain a Fleur Dis Lis incorporated in the design The name “Monmouth Council” must appear prominently on the patch and the council’s name may NOT be abbreviated or altered in any way. The patch may contain the state name of “New Jersey” but cannot contain the names of individuals cities, town or areas. Patch may not contain third-party trademarks, including movie and comic book characters. The patch must have a solid-colored border on its outside edge. Template for patch is available on our website    OFFICIAL RULES AND GUIDELINES All submissions must be received by August 27, 2025 to be considered. All entries will be judged by the Council's Marketing Committee and a winner will be announced on September 16th.  The winner will receive a $100 Scout Shop gift card. All design submissions must align with the Scouting morales and may not include any inappropriate content or references. If selected, the winning design's artwork becomes property of the Monmouth Council and can be used for patch production/sales. Enter your Patch Design Here
