Troop update

Troop 140 Update,

Due to the possibility of a school closing and to help with advance planning we will have a brief virtual troop meeting tomorrow night January 26 at 7:30.

I am asking ASM Dave Severino to please send out the link to the troop.

 A few things to review as follows.

February 1 is Scout Sunday at 12 noon mass at St. James. Please have a count of how many scouts, leaders and parents are attending.

We are also looking for a few parents to help set up, clean up and serve refreshments for after mass.

February 13-15 is our Winterberg camping trip to FSR. Please be prepared to say if you are attending and your available departure time.

Troop 67 will be camping in Wilkenson lodge with us. Their SPL will be contacting our SPL Kieran to plan activities for the w/e. Have an idea of what you would like to do. We already reserved the rifle range. We will also talk about a tentative menu for the weekend.

January 29th there is a Klondike Derby review meeting. It is for adults to review any problems, suggestions or ideas from our scouts related to the days event.

Please be prepared to share your thoughts at the virtual meeting tomorrow. 

February 1 there is a Forestburg Summer Camp kick off meeting for adults and parents if anyone wants to get camp information.

In the coming weeks after the meeting merit badge signups will be available to pick. Think about what you would like to take at camp.

Information about FSR summer camp is available in the leader's guide located at the FSR website.

It was great to see our Eagle Scouts Will Franznick, Ben Constence, Brody Clark and Chris Betten visit at our last troop meeting.
