On February 1 at St. James 12 noon mass is the celebration of Scout Sunday.
There is an award called the Helping Hands award which is available to scouts and adults who are involved in some form or another with helping in the Catholic faith.

The award is a patch which you can receive more than once. So, if you are involved with a group or individual who gives service you are eligible.
Examples can be an alter server, church sponsored youth group, Knights of Columbus, choir, CCD teacher, work with youth on religious awards, and more.
So far, I have Robert and Zachary as alter severs. Please give me your name and what you do so I can put you in for the award. You don't have to attend the mass to be recognized with the award.
