PLC and committee meeting

I hope everyone has had a good summer so far and you enjoy the next few weeks.

If you did any scouting, I hope it went well.

Congratulations to ASM Dave Severino on the birth of his new son Jaxon David Severino.

I know we had summer camp, and it was a blast as always.

Our SPL Kieran was on FSR staff, Wade went back for a second week as a provisional camper, and I volunteered during week 4.

Robert has been busy working on the Catholic religion award attending Wednesday night meetings at St. James.

If I missed anyone doing scouting activities let me know.

If anyone need rank advancement signed off in your book, set an appointment with me to get it done.

If you have a partial merit badge from summer camp, there is a makeup date on August 16 at Quail Hill. You can sign up on the council web site.

I an effort to get our scouting season off to a good start I would like to hold a PLC planning meeting on Thursday, August 14 in my back yard. 

All scouts are invited to attend and help plan our coming events and activities. Please let me know if you can attend at 7:15 on the 14th.

September 5-7 is the OA weekend at Quail Hill for OA members. We can have several of you become OA members as soon as you become First Class,

Save the date of September 14 to volunteer at the Hydrocephalus Walk.

Save the date of August 27 for adult troop committee meeting to review what the scouts want to do this season.

We will have to set a planning date to clean out our troop storage trailer.

Recruit a friend or neighbor to join our troop. Spread the word about scouting.
