Good Afternoon All - Just a few reminders for the start of the Ad Altre Dei Program. We will assemble for our first meeting and orientation on: Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, in the St. James Rectory Basement Conference Room (enter via the glass door between the Rectory and the Church). You can enter the parking lot on Peter’s Place.  If you are not familiar with St. James, please enter the school address, 30 Peters Place, Red Bank, NJ into your GPS.   One Parent, guardian, or adult family member is encouraged to come for the orientation, which will last approximately 20 minutes. 
Scout leaders are also welcome to join our first meeting, orientation and opening prayer.
 After the parent orientation, we will start Chapter One. Please have the scouts wear their Class A Uniform, and bring the following:

 Ø a pen/pencil and notebook

Ø if you received the white information it should be completed and signed before your arrival. (if you don’t have one, extra copies will be available on Wednesday).  The brown information sheet needs to remain in the book.

Ø If you have not acquired a copy of the Ad Altare Dei Youth Manual (workbook), a copy of Chapter one will be available for Wednesday’s meeting.  If you have not yet ordered an Ad Altare Dei Youth Manual (workbook) I will have a few with me on Wednesday. The cost is $6.00. Check can be made out to the DOT-CCS (Diocese of Trenton-Catholic Committee on Scouting), cash, or VENMO - @barbaradudek last 4 # of phone # is 4080, please note Scouting. 

Ø Please be familiar with Section One, Chapter One Sacraments and Sacramentals.  You are welcome to bring any sacramental from home (but not required).

Ø If you do not have a Bible, one will be provided and available Wednesday.

 Parents are requested to come back to the St. James Rectory Basement Conference Room to pick up their scout at 8:00 pm. 

On behalf of myself, Deacon Tom and Mrs. Lynda Fiorenza, we are looking forward to meeting all of you Wednesday night.
