Schuylkill Bios:
Gerry Timothy: After playing his college ball for Villanova (Go Cats!) Gerry played for Schuylkill from 1998-2012... and then dusted off the boots in 2015 to help out the D4 side. He was a club officer 4 times including a 4 year stint as match secretary and three separate two year terms as president. He was a MAC committee member from 2006-2012 and has been a certified referee since 2000. Gerry has seen game action at every position except for prop. Gerry has always answered the call to whatever the club needed be it on or off the pitch and still serves on the Advisory Committee.
Will Taylor: Played from 2003-2012 and is one of those guys who really exhibits Exile pride. Will's reputation as one of Philly rugby's all around great guys precedes him and his infectious positivity was a great asset to our Club. When he stepped between the lines though Will was a dominant force for nearly a decade. Will is a past winner of forward's MVP and also took home a players' player of the year (Siddell/Face) award as well. The peak of the team's on-field success with Will was a D1 national sweet 16 appearance.
Tom Weishaupt: Played from 2009-2014 and was on the coaching staff until 2017 is always willing to help the Club get the job done on and off the field. Tom served as forward's captain and was a two time forward's MVP. He also earned the Siddell award as player's player of the year. In addition to his 3 years on the Exiles' coaching staff as a Forwards/Assistant, Tom also helped the Northeast Raiders for two seasons as an assistant coach. Tom played an important role in Schuylkill's top 6 National finish in 2014.
Troop Bios:
Tommy Richards: Played from approximately 2005-2016 as a flanker and reluctant second row occasionally. Tommy did what the club needed him to do, serving as both team captain and club president throughout his tenure. Tommy was a prolific tackler on the field and a fully engaged administrator off of it.
Rob Greco: Played from approximately 2005-2017 as a 190Lb prop and hooker. Rob's commitment to fitness always more than made up for what he gave up in size to his opposite number. Rob also served as a captain, officer, and occasional player-coach when the situation called for it.
