It is my pleasure to announce the 2019 Schuylkill River Rugby Hall of Fame class of Gerry Timothy and Tommy Richards. Both of these guys have done a tremendous job representing our Club throughout the years and they make a worthy addition to our Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame Banquet is taking place on February 23 at the IATSE Ballroom from 7:30-11:30 PM. The cost is $60 per person which includes 4 hours of top shelf open bar and dinner. We are also in the process of putting together some really nice silent auction items that you won't want to miss. Tickets can be purchased 3 ways.

The North Philly Nomads are hosting their 6th Annual Six Nations Viewing Party Fundraiser at 9:15AM on February 9th at Tir Na Nog (1600 Arch St). For $25 you'll get 2 hours of draft beer as well as food specials. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and t-shirts for sale. The match is Ireland vs. Scotland so it should be a good one.

Schuylkill River is hosting a free youth clinic on Saturday February 16 at Hillside Recreation Center (201 Fountain St) from 11AM-1PM. Please spread the word to any high school rugby programs that you think might be interested.

The Second Annual HazBowl Old Boys Match is taking place on March 23. Our D1 and D3 sides will both be playing Norfolk that day so please keep your calendar clear.

Lastly, our spring boys and girls club dates are set. We'll be doing rookie rugby on Jan 25, Feb 15, Mar 1, Apr 5, and May 10 from 4-6PM at 1709 Kinsey St. We're always willing to have new coaches come out so let me know if you're interested.
