Scouts and parents,


The BAD:

The troop lock in that was kinda sorta talked about for the 30th of May (next friday) will not be happening due to conflicts with a lot of other activities.


The Good:
The following dates are better for a lock in June 6, 13, 20   July 11, 25   August 1, 8, 15. Get together scouts, and give some though as to which date(s) is best for the lock in. There can be more than one. Provided they're not too close

Also, the dates June 7, 21  July 12, 26 August 2, 9, 16 are available for day trips, providing there wasn't a lock in the night before.

Some of the things possible on a day trip.

Learn to surf - Cross waves July 19, only date available - free
Daytona Lagoon $28
Skeet Shooting ???
Tubing at Kelly Park $5
Bike trip - free
Fishing - free
canoeing ??
Trip to the Flea Market - what ever you want to spend
New Symrna Speedway (night time) $15 to $25 depending on date
Orienteering - free at Kelly park

These are a few things I came up with off the top of my head,and by no means your only options. If you have ideas for a day trip, we would like to hear them.
Give your summer time activities some thought and let us know. I am going to go over this with the scouts at the next meeting.

 Look at the calendar, double check the dates for conflicts.

There is no meeting on Monday the 26th of May.(Memorial Day)
