This summer I'm working full time in an office so i don't have much time to volunteer but i am trying to raise money for CARE by Living Below The Line. From May 18-22, I will be living off just $1.50 worth of food and drink per day. A $1.50 per day living allowance is the US equivalent of the Extreme Poverty Line - and 1.4 billion people live below this line every day. I'm hoping that by doing this I will gain a new perspective on life and I will be able to raise some money for CARE. I'm going shopping tonight and I will update at the end of my five days what i was able to eat.
If you're able to donate then click below! I understand if you can't donate, but no matter what I will be doing the challenge!

CARE(from their website): Each year, over 358,000 women die during pregnancy and
childbirth -- approximately 1,000 every day -- from mostly preventable
causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. Ninety-nine percent of all
maternal deaths occur in developing countries. CARE is helping
change these alarming statistics. We're aiming to to improve the health
of more than 30 million women of reproductive age before, during and
after pregnancy in Africa, Asia and Latin America by 2015.
You guys rock!
(and sorry for the mild exploitation of friends, teachers, and coworkers)
