Tiny102303 aims to fold in some of the recently added advantages of Tiny11. For example, Tiny10 version 2303 includes a component store that allows you to update the operating system and add new features. For example, you can add new languages and features from the store.

As you know, Tiny10 is made for old computers. It means that Tiny10 version 2303 can work with low-end PCs. To be specific, Tiny10 2303 update can even be downloaded and installed on computers equipped with 2GB RAM and 12GB disk space.

If you want to install Tiny10 2303 update on other computers, make a Windows installation drive by using a piece of USB bootable software and an empty USB drive. For instance, you can download and install Rufus on your PC. Then connect the USB to the computer and run Rufus. Select the downloaded Tiny10 2303 ISO in Rufus and configure other settings based on your demands. After that, click the START button to begin the process.

Once the installation drive is created, unplug the USB drive and insert it into the target PC. Power on the computer and keep pressing keys like F12 to access its boot menu. Then click on the USB drive with installation media and follow the prompted instructions to finish the installation procedure.

Tiny11 b1 (b standing for beta) was released in February 2023 and has been a smashing success. However, it has been superseded by tiny11 core, having similar functionality while being based on the new 23H2 platform.

The only issue i get is trying to update on Tiny 10 23H2 with the cumulative (KB5034122), it downloads, then install until getting 100% and before disapearing it prompts an error message (0x800f081f). Is a known issue? Have you made a performance comparison between Tiny 10 and Tiny 11 on x64 low specs PC?

Hi! It seems like this is quite a prevalent issue (although not everyone has it), but in the following days/week I will release a refreshed version of tiny10/11 that fixes this issue (or at least tries to)

hi ndtev i was going to install ur tiny11 2311 on my old 4th gen i3 desktop but saw ur twitter post that soon new tiny is coming.as dorm bandwqidth is precious and costly wanted to get it installed from here.ihave about 36hours before i leave for dorm.so it would have been reqally helpfil if u could release the latest build sooner.thankkkkkkkkkkuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu man

Just a minor comment, i think tiny10 windows would be more useful if there was a version with Windows Store installed, so that we could at least Have the option to install other apps, like Photo viewer, calendar, etc.

Something similar to winpe 10 but that is installable and actually ends up without page file, without hybernate, without MicroSpam apps, just old school how Windows is supposed to be minus the Micro Monkey business they oppress us with. Also classic shell or worst case starts back.

The best thing ever. tiny10 helped my potato laptop run very smoothly. the best os for very old potato laptops or pc`s. but there was one problem: i tried intalling tiny11 on my potato laptop but i got BSoD with the error code of KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION. I searched the internet it says your ram can be damaged or so and being caused by corrupted drivers. the way to fix it was to give windows more page drive and fix corrupted files. i tested the tiny11 in a virtual box and it worked totally fine. ill happy if someone can fix my problem. Thank you!

Tiny10 and Tiny11 are popular projects aiming to give users a lightweight Windows with a significantly reduced disk footprint and no unnecessary parts. The most recent releases include Tiny11 and Tiny11 for ARM, and now users can download Tiny10 version 2303 based on the latest Windows 10 update.

Tiny10 2303 is made primarily for those with old PCs that cannot properly run stock Windows 10, not to mention Windows 11. It is x86-only (based on Windows 10 LTSC 2021) and requires just a little more than 5GB of drive space. More importantly, version 2303 brings a few notable improvements and changes:

You can download Tiny10 2303 from the Internet Archive. Note that the operating system is not activated, and you need a valid Windows 10 key (it should still work with old Windows 7 and 8 keys). Also, keep in mind the potential risks of using modified Windows images. The rule of thumb is simple: do not use it if you do not trust it. Alternatively, you can put the stock Windows on a diet and DIY a lightweight ISO using a dedicated guide.

Earlier this year, NTDEV (@NTDEV_ on Twitter) released tiny10 2303 for those needing a lightweight and modern Windows 10 edition with a small disk footprint and the latest updates. The initial release was only available in the x86 or 32-bit flavor, aiming at customers with low-end hardware incapable of running the stock Windows 10 or 11. Fast forward a few months, and now tiny10 2303 or "23H1" is available in the x64 format with all the benefits of its "smaller" sibling.

Like tiny10 2303 x86, version 23H1 is based on the same Windows 10 LTSC 21H2 (build number 19044.3031). Its main highlight is the component store support that ensures you can download monthly updates while retaining the installation's low profile and small disk footprint (Remote Desktop is also there). According to the project's developer, tiny10 23H1 is for those wanting the core Windows experience with the necessary features and security measures.

Another noteworthy aspect of the new tiny10 version is the ability to perform an in-place upgrade. In other words, you can update to tiny10 23H1 from older tiny10 releases with no need for a clean install.

It is worth noting that "23H1" is just a "naming convention" that indicates a release from the first half of 2023. Microsoft's official Windows 10 release is version 22H2, and the company has made it clear that users should not expect a newer release or any significant feature updates. 22H2 should be the last Windows 10 version, with the end of support scheduled for October 2025.

You can try using it without a license, but the installation will eventually start nagging you with activation prompts, dark desktop backgrounds, and other inconveniences. In other words, all the good stuff from the stock Windows 10. At least it no longer requires more than 20GB of space on your drive and a minimum of 2GB of RAM.

If you want a more modern lightweight Windows release, check out tiny11, which offers the best of Windows 11 without unnecessary components or bloat. If you do not trust third-party Windows modifications, see this guide showing how to DIY a debloated Windows ISO for your personal needs and preferences.

According to @NTDEV_, the project's creator, tiny10 23H2 resolves multiple "nagging issues" from older versions. Rebuilding tiny10 with a new tool also improved compatibility with most Windows components, allowing customers to install extra features, such as Windows Media Player, whenever necessary. Also, NET Framework 3.5 is fully functional again.

You can download tiny10 23H2 (built upon version 19044.3324) from the Internet Archive. For now, it is only available in the x64 variant, so those needing an x86 image should resort to tiny10 version 2303 from May 2023. Another thing worth noting is that you still need a genuine Windows key to activate the operating system (older Windows 7 and 8.1 keys should work just fine).

Tiny10 2303 is made mainly for those who have old computers that cannot run Windows 10 properly, not to mention Windows 11. It is only for the x86 architecture (based on Windows 10 LTSC 2021) and requires just a little more than 5 GB of disk space.

Just like what NTDEV did for Windows 11 by releasing tiny11, a debloated version to help low-end PCs to run the operating system under limited resources, the devs also have something similar for Windows 10.

Despite its polarizing reviews, tiny10 is still a good tool for developers and software enthusiasts alike who are keen to use Windows 10. The rule of thumb for it, however, remains the same: expect the tool to run into some sort of limitations.
