FNAF1 is the first game of the FNAF series and the first game of FNAF: Coop, which takes place in a pizzeria. It's the third game of the series lore-wise. Your job is to take the night shift, however, it won't be that easy. 4 animatronics, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, are trying to kill you, and your only protection is metal doors that take a lot of power. Can you survive the horrors of this pizzeria?
You spawn inside of an office, containing a table, cameras, a set of doors, and a chair. The set of doors have two buttons next to them. The red button closes the door, and is used to open the door as well. The green button shines a light down the respective hall. The cameras are used to see where the Animatronics are. These tools are how you survive the animatronics, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, who want to enter your office and kill you. Sometimes, Golden Freddy may appear in your office.
Freddy: Freddy has a massive audio cue that helps you know when he is moving, his laugh; every time he moves, he laughs. Similar to Foxy, Freddy can be prevented from moving by watching the cameras. Which camera you watch does not matter. When Freddy is in the corner of the right hallway, he is preparing to attack. Once he is at the door, shut the door and wait for him to leave. If he laughs after shutting the door, that symbolizes he has left and he returns to the end of the right hallway where his cycle repeat.
Foxy: After the two easiest, we have the hardest to counter. Foxy will need to be "cam-stalled", which is stalling an animatronics movement by opening the cameras, you will need to cam-stall frequently, as Foxy will escape Pirate's Cove if you do not. The camera you watch does not matter, just that you are on the cameras. Foxy moves through phases and will be at his final phase when he has fully escaped Pirate's Cove and is looking down the left hallway, after a random time he will sprint down to your office, this can be cam-stalled, and can be recognized very easily by the heavy and rapid stomping Foxy makes when he runs, to which you need to promptly shut the left door until the banging stops. Foxy takes away power every time he runs into your door, increasing his power consumption, and can easily get up to 10% power loss per run if you do not cam-stall correctly or fast enough.
Golden Freddy: While you may not encounter him in a regular run, he is still here. His chances of spawning are rare. If he does spawn, open the cameras as quickly as possible before he can attack. He will appear in the left corner after showing you an illusion on the screen. Once the illusion happens again after opening the cameras, you'll know that he is gone.
All the characters have illumination from their eyes, making them very easy to spot and differentiate from one another since it matches their color scheme. (If used to advantages, there would be no need to use the door light.)
If possible, when the power runs out and you're close to 5am, it may be a good idea to leave the office and start looking for a good place to hide while Freddy does his music box phase such as in the entry area, bathroom, or any other place. When Freddy finishes his music box phase, all the animatronics will start to free roam, attempting to hunt you. By then, you would stall them long enough for 6 AM to roll around.
If you're playing as janitor, you can open the kitchen door by using the key located in the office to complete your tasks for the night, just avoid Chica whilst doing so, as she's the only animatronic that can enter the kitchen.
