Helloin my new PC with Windows 10, I connected the LaserJet 1160 printer following the instructions HP, to install the driver "USB (DOT4) communication driver for Windows 8 and Higher (64-bit)" for the LaserJet 1160 printer, but unfortunately it does not work. When I connect the printer with the USB cable, the PC detects the model but can not find the driver. I also tested the universal driver for HP printers, but it does not work. It 's really strange that it does not even recognize the basic software for a simple print, first with the Windows 7 everything worked. Has anyone found the solution to this problem? Thank you.

I have a desktop running Win 10 Pro 64bit Ver 1803 that I successfully installed my HP LJ 1160 manaully using the Windows Update button (see pic) in 2018. I just got a new laptop (Win 10 Home 64bit Ver 1809) the other day and tried to install the same printer in the same manner as the desktop, but now it's not there anymore.

Yes GiantoD60 the HP site has a DOT4 driver, but that's only for the USB driver part and not the full print driver set. I took this a step further and downloaded several of the most recent Microsoft Catalog drivers for my system (even Win 8/7):

I tried rpmfusion on a test system that was connected to the internet and could use the rpmfusion repos, and the installation worked fine. That particular system had kernels going back to 3.10.0-1127, plus the most recent 3.10.0-1160 kernels.

When I tried it on the production network, which is using the 3.10.0-1160 kernels (nothing prior to that), the install choked with an error about needing a kernel dependency of less than 3.10.0-1128.

Does that imply that rpmfusion video driver is meant for CentOS 7.8 or earlier? (the 3.10.0-1160 is CentOS 7.9) Is there a newer version coming out?

We also have print tracking software and I can include non-local printers(meaning not locally installed on the server with the print management software) in the software to be managed. Does your software not allow this?

I have had a lot of issues moving from 200/2003 print servers to 2008. If possible use the Printer Management mmc on the 2008 server to manage the 2003 server. You can then export the printer and driver and import them to the 2008 server. This process has work pretty well in most situations for me.

Right click the shared printer on the Windows 2003 Server server > Select Sharing > Select Additional Drivers > Check the x64 box. Browse to where your HP 64 bit drivers are located or download them again and select the .inf file.

Driver Responsibility Assessment Fee (DRA): Drivers who accrue 6 or more points in 18 months as a result of traffic convictions are required to pay an additional fine known as the Driver Responsibility Assessment (DRA) fee. There are other laws that also govern turns in specific scenarios. For example, VTL 1161(a) prohibits U-turns on hills or on roads that are curved. This is because such geographic scenarios make it difficult to see if other vehicles are approaching and for those approaching vehicles to slow down in time for a vehicle making a U-turn. Similarly, VTL 1161(b) makes it illegal to make a U-turn in a school zone. It depends. A U-turn is technically permissible when the driver is making the turn to and from the lane nearest the marked center line between traffic going in different directions.
