So up to this quest, specifically the part where you have to put the wand in the orc and shoot him in the face, i have shot him in the face at least 1000 times and it keeps saying its not a critical hit. Anyone done this or having the same problem?
was having the exact same problem. i finally got it. ran away from him a bit and hip fired a skullmasher when he was invisible. maybe he needs to be invisble? this is gonna piss a lot of people off if it's happening to everyone
Hey, I'm having issues with this quest. He tells me to kill the golem with a rocket launcher, grenade, or critical hit. I've killed it 3 times now with an explosive rocket launcher (Since the mission requirement is an explosive weapon) and each time I'm told I can't kill it normally and the thing resets. Anyone else try this quest yet? Any tips?
this mission's a fucking joke! i'm killing it with an explosive assault rifle, which is my only explosive weapon and it keeps resetting. and it's just glitched on me too, probably because it had to reset so many times.
EDIT: ugh! i should really think before running my mouth. turns out the gun i was using wasn't technically explosive and after switching to a shotty with the explosive logo on it, the quest moved forward.
I'm playing with a lvl 55 on TVH. Just finished the quest. Spider I had to redo a few times. Had to be sure the electrocute DoT (damage over time) is what killed it and not the me shooting it that killed it. I also ended up hitting the Orc in the face. Tricky prospect too since he went invisible on me at one point. Ended up trying him over again a few times and the last time I lined up a shot to his face and hit to insert the wand and spammed the melee button to kill him.
I like many people had trouble with this quest, I got so pissed off killing that golem thing i saved and quit the game then loaded it back up and the wand was on the floor already charged, so if it happens to you try this hopefully it will help!
Thank you for this! Found this a while ago via my phone, just now getting around to finding the thread again and properly thanking you! This was driving me nuts. I was wondering if it wasn't working with my siren because the corrosive cloud was forming as I sniped him in the face? I dunno, but that punch to the face worked!
I had a problem probably because I'm a Cataclysm Siren. I imagine that most of the elemental side effects were part of the critical damage, meaning he was being killed by elements. I basically just kept trying until he dropped a non elemental shotgun. I hit him in the face with that at point blank range and got it.
In a related story, I read that a British convicted paedophile who was found guilty of sexually assaulting an eight year old girl a few years ago, was then only sentenced to "community order." (Community service.)
Were you of full intelligence and physically fit, I would be considering a period of imprisonment, but undoubtedly this offence is mitigated by the fact you have very severe learning difficulties and a number of physical disabilities.
'Non-custodial sentence' in this context suggests a community order or a fine. In most instances, an offence will have crossed the threshold for a community order. However, in accordance with normal sentencing practice, a court is not precluded from imposing a financial penalty where that is determined to be the appropriate sentence.
Having read the same article as you, I was similarly surprised. However, having done a little bit of case research on The Law Pages - I recommend looking there for any judgements you can't find elsewhere, a free account is all you need for the most part - I found the notes on the case. You may need an account to view this page, but it might be of interest to all.
The case discussed in the article. As you will see, the name of the offender is Zabhullah Boota, but I appear unable to find record of the original case (in 2010, when he was sentenced to the community order).
Murder : the only possible sentence is "life imprisonment" (although almost all murderers are released from prison "on license" after serving a "tariff" - decided by the sentencing judge - plus a bit while their application is considered by the Parole Board).
Here is a case (Swedish) where a 2 year minimum was nickel-and-dime'd to 180 hours of community service, based on age of offender, first offense, anxiety (p. 8-9). The reasoning is not particularly detailed.

This paper outlines the toxicology results from 1014 cases of claimed drug-facilitated sexual assault (DFSA) analysed at the Forensic Science Service, London Laboratory between January 2000 and December 2002. Where appropriate, either a whole blood sample and/or a urine sample was analysed for alcohol, common drugs of abuse and potentially stupefying drugs. The results were interpreted with respect to the number of drugs detected and an attempt was made to distinguish between voluntary and involuntary ingestion from information supplied. Alcohol (either alone or with an illicit and/or medicinal drug) was detected in 470 of all cases (46%). Illicit drugs were detected in 344 cases (34%), with cannabis being the most commonly detected (26% of cases), followed by cocaine (11%). In 21 cases (2%), a sedative or disinhibiting drug was detected which had not been admitted and could therefore be an instance of deliberate spiking. This included three cases in which complainants were allegedly given Ecstasy (MDMA) without their knowledge. Other drugs detected included gammahydroxybutyrate (GHB) and the benzodiazepine drugs diazepam and temazepam. Another nine cases (1%) involved the complainant being either given or forced to ingest pharmaceutical tablets or an illicit drug.

John Logan Haugh, 25, who has no fixed address listed in court records but lives in Dagsboro, Delaware, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two first-degree misdemeanor counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age. He was released Wednesday night after posting 10 percent of his $20,000 bail set by District Judge John H. Fishel.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by York Area Regional Officer Scott E. Longnecker on Oct. 16, 2017, police learned about the sexual assault from a Childline referral. The report from Childline indicated the assault happened in 2005 at the Kingdom Hall at 395 Boxwood Road when the victim was 4 years old. The victim's family was part of the Jehovah's Witnesses faith.
While at the Kingdom Hall before doing outreach efforts, the victim's mother left the victim with the congregation and went to use the bathroom, according to the affidavit. Police said in the affidavit that while the victim's mother was in the bathroom, Haugh "took her (the victim) to a secluded area where he assaulted her."
