How to Root and Install TWRP Recovery on Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge

If you are looking for a way to unleash the full potential of your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge, you might want to consider rooting and installing a custom recovery on your device. Rooting allows you to gain full access to the system files and settings of your phone, enabling you to customize it to your liking and install various mods and tweaks. A custom recovery, such as TWRP, allows you to flash custom ROMs, kernels, and other zip files, as well as perform backups and restores of your system.

In this guide, we will show you how to root and install TWRP recovery on your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge, using the CF-Auto-Root method and the Odin tool. This method is compatible with the following models: SM-G920F, SM-G920FD, SM-G920I, SM-G920L, SM-G920K, SM-G920S, SM-G920T, SM-G920W8, SM-G925F, SM-G925I, SM-G925L, SM-G925K, SM-G925S, SM-G925T, and SM-G925W8. However, this method will trip the Knox counter on your device, which means you will lose your warranty and Samsung Pay functionality. Proceed at your own risk.
