Thispinned post just a couple of items above your question explains Aerosoft's standard approach to your request. While the examples are about aircraft, the same thinking goes for all their products. Do note that you will need to be willing to first work with Aerosoft support to identify any issues with your computer. They don't just pass out refunds without some effort on your part to ensure you have a clean, correctly functioning system. This is because the software is known to run correctly on a clean system, and the vast majority of the time, the issue is with the customer's computer. Their focus will be to help you get the software to run on your system.

Please contact "support@aerosoft,com" with your purchase information and a description of your problem. They will take it from there. Please do not post purchase information on any of the public forums.

Do the test yourself. Instead of using a throttle quadrant, use the keyboard to power up and down and you will see what happen. Impossible to control the power this way and impossible to land the plane without throttle.

First of all, I use the X-Box Controller to fly mine and have no issues. So it can definitely be done.

Second, did you use the Throttle Calibration section on the EFB? You should set to single and no reverse axis, then push Default. Then Save settings. It should work just fine.

I have exactly the same. One button for max power, one button for cut power and two buttons for increasing or decreasing the power. On any other plane since 1984 flying FS have always works very nicely.

I read part of the manual concerning the throttle. If you are talking about the two red release latches (#7 in the manual), I can release when at climb position but as soon as I press the button to decrease power, the latches goes down immediately locking it again. I seen nothing about how to unlock the throttles ? I would like it works instead of being refund because I really like the CRJ made in Quebec where I live.

As it stands, this is the most utterly unusable product I've ever purchased for MSFS. (and at EUR 40!!!!). I literally don;t know how or where to resolve this. The other threads seemed to all be about the avionics not working properly with SU14. My issues are far more widespread than that. The plane is completely dead.

There are still very minor issues, one related to the AP master switch that's not working properly when mapped to a control button on your joystick or throttle device (works right with the glareshield AP button), the other one related to the pilot and co-pilot only appearing in the cockpit once the engines are running and not before, being this issue a bit annoying for me.

I'm on SU13 and don't have those problem. But I do agree 2012 is sub par to 2006 . Two updates later the default camera position out of wack and with view angle that absolutely don't make sense. There is no dedicated camera position for EFB, but there is view straight back to cabin . Like really why? I'd rather have first officer view and EFB...

If you delete the FMSPlugin.js file from the Panel folder, you will/should be able to use most of the avionics except the keyboards/keypads, so having a flight plan from the World Map will work. Then the plane will fly quite well - I'm enjoying it. I've not had problems with bindings, but agree that the default pilot position is weird, as is the lack of visible pilots before start, the way the panel jolts around when throttle adjustments are made, and a few other niggling faults will certainly need fixes before it becomes a truly enjoyable aircraft.

I am also frustrated that the only airframe variant that can be repainted at present is the default pax version - I've not found a way to activate any of the other models, which is another problem that needs addressing, along with some sample file structures for each variant.

Thanks Brian. I saw your other posts about this, and tried it. It didn't work for me.

Given that my issue is total unresponsiveness when the plane loads (rather than an avionics issue), I suspect my issues is an activation problem. But on Aerosoft One, products are 'automatically activated' and there is no manual action I can take to reactivate it.

[EDIT: FSS have replied and said it seems to be an activation issue. Their advice was to "activate it again on Contrail", despite me letting them know that it was bought on Aerosoft One. ?].

OK - understand. I'm presuming you have tried a complete uninstall, deletion of folder from Community, restart computer, restart the installation from AerosoftOne? I don't think it will accept your Aerosoft activation code on Contrail btw!

Same problem for me. MacPro 10.6.8 running X-Plane 10.20 64 bit. Reported to the Org Store and they sent the Windows version saying that it "should work" as it is a zip file. Both Windows and Mac downloads are zip files, but I gave it a try and of course all I got was an error message. The Org Store gave me a refund, but why are they selling software with installation issues?

Horrible idea to leave the sim installed in the root of your system drive if you are a WinVista or Win7 user - it's a system-owned area & the OS does all sorts of stupid things in the name of security.

Installing in X-Plane is "copy the folder from the ZIP to your aircraft folder inside your X-Plane folder". But do not copy it into one of the Laminar own folder ("Laminar Research" and "Extra Aircraft"). Create a new folder below the "Aircraft" folder named "Aerosoft". Or whatever you want to use as name. And then place the folder from your bought ZIP into this folder.

This plane is originally from 2012 and the "newest" update I found (version 1.10) is from March 2014 I would expect at least slight problems in the newest version of X-Plane 11. The Aerosoft store says in bold letters that it is not compatible with X-Plane 11. At the org store it also says "compatible with X-Plane 10". X-Plane 11 is not mentioned. So good luck. I really hope for you it will work sufficient for you.
