On the Verify the date and time settings page, click Change system date and time settings to select the date, time, and time zone settings for your server. When you are finished, click Next.
If you are installing Windows Server Essentials on a virtual machine, make sure that you choose the same time zone settings that are being used by the host operating system. If the time zone settings differ, the server installation might not succeed.
After the installation finishes, you are automatically logged on to the server with the new administrator account that you added during installation. The built-in Administrator account password is set to the same password as the new administrator account, and then the built-in Administrator account is disabled.
You can use your newly installed server for a limited amount of time (known as the evaluation period) without entering a product key. After the evaluation period, you must enter a product key to activate the server or extend the evaluation period. You can extend the evaluation period a maximum of two times. When you reach the maximum number of days allowed for the evaluation period, you must activate your server with a product key.
The Home page of the Windows Server Essentials Dashboard links to SETUP tasks that you should complete immediately after you install your server. By performing these tasks, you can help protect information that is stored on the server and enable the features that are available in Windows Server Essentials.

The following steps describe how to install Tableau Server on a single computer. Use the steps to install Tableau Server in a single server deployment. Use the steps to install the initial node in a multi-node Tableau Server deployment. Run the steps sequentially.
This procedure applies to installing or reinstalling SSM Agent on an EC2 instance for Windows Server. If you need to install the agent on an on-premises server or a virtual machine (VM) so it can be used with Systems Manager, see Install SSM Agent for a hybrid environment (Windows).
The default configuration of the source distribution expects the server to be installed into \Apache24. This can be customized at compilation time, but it's important that ultimately the ServerRoot in httpd.conf match the actual installation root. Binary distributions may customize either the default installation root or the overall layout of the initial configuration.
ThreadsPerChild: This directive is new. It tells the server how many threads it should use. This is the maximum number of connections the server can handle at once, so be sure to set this number high enough for your site if you get a lot of hits. The recommended default is ThreadsPerChild 150, but this must be adjusted to reflect the greatest anticipated number of simultaneous connections to accept.
Apache for Windows contains the ability to load modules at runtime, without recompiling the server. If Apache is compiled normally, it will install a number of optional modules in the \Apache2.4\modules directory. To activate these or other modules, the LoadModule directive must be used. For example, to activate the status module, use the following (in addition to the status-activating directives in access.conf):
Apache can also load ISAPI (Internet Server Application Programming Interface) extensions such as those used by Microsoft IIS and other Windows servers. More information is available. Note that Apache cannot load ISAPI Filters, and ISAPI Handlers with some Microsoft feature extensions will not work.
You can also run Apache via the shortcut Start Apache in Console placed to Start Menu --> Programs --> Apache HTTP Server 2.4.xx --> Control Apache Server during the installation. This will open a console window and start Apache inside it. If you don't have Apache installed as a service, the window will remain visible until you stop Apache by pressing Control-C in the console window where Apache is running in. The server will exit in a few seconds. However, if you do have Apache installed as a service, the shortcut starts the service. If the Apache service is running already, the shortcut doesn't do anything.
If you don't specify a configuration file with -f or -n, Apache will use the file name compiled into the server, such as conf\httpd.conf. This built-in path is relative to the installation directory. You can verify the compiled file name from a value labelled as SERVER_CONFIG_FILE when invoking Apache with the -V switch, like this:
After starting Apache (either in a console window or as a service) it will be listening on port 80 (unless you changed the Listen directive in the configuration files or installed Apache only for the current user). To connect to the server and access the default page, launch a browser and enter this URL:
Because Apache cannot share the same port with another TCP/IP application, you may need to stop, uninstall or reconfigure certain other services before running Apache. These conflicting services include other WWW servers, some firewall implementations, and even some client applications (such as Skype) which will use port 80 to attempt to bypass firewall issues.
Is there some additional config that I need to make to the server to make Server 2022 installation work? Or should I boot the iso directly and skip Intelligent Provisioning and install drivers afterwards?
Speaking to HP support now and the agent is stating that this server hardware does not support Server 2022. Now facepalming my hands and showing her links to the latest (Nov 05) SPP which clearly lists it. Come on HP normally these servers are really good.
I tried to install Telnet Client feature using Server Manager in a Windows Server 2016 and now is completely stuck at running stage. Now I just want to cancel this but there is no option anywhere. Reboot is not an option. I googled for a solution and was not able to find anything useful. I have tried to run the installation on Powershell and it gets stuck at 20%, also removing it but is not listed obviously. I tried also to kill the "msiserver" task and restart Windows Installer. I found also a possible solution to rename the Server Manager cache registry. No results.
You may want to install a secure FTP server on Windows either as standalone file storage or to have means of editing your website hosted on IIS (Internet Information Services) web server. In both cases, you can use an optional FTP Server component of the IIS. It can be installed standalone or along with a Web Server.1
While the internal Windows firewall is automatically configured to open FTP ports when FTP server is installed, this change does not seem to apply, until FTP service is restarted. The same is true for changing data channel port range.
In Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, in the Connections menu tree (left pane), expand the name of the server on which the certificate was installed. Then expand Sites and click the site you want to use the SSL certificate to secure.
Kindly help us with which exact cortex agent version needs to be installed on this server => Windows Server 2008 Version 6.0(Build 6003:Service Pack2)
Since it is a 2008 server it has no support .
The server installation section describes a single-node SonarQube instance from the ZIP file or from the Docker image. For a Kubernetes installation, see Deploy SonarQube on Kubernetes. For details on clustered setup, see Install the server as a cluster.
For optimal performance, the SonarQube server and database should be installed on separate hosts, and the server host should be dedicated. The server and database hosts should be located on the same network.
FileMaker Server is a dedicated database server that hosts databases created using FileMaker Pro so that data can be shared and modified by FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Go, and FileMaker WebDirect clients, and by other client applications supported by the FileMaker Server Web Publishing Engine and the FileMaker Data API Engine.
OpenVPN 2.0 expands on the capabilities of OpenVPN 1.x by offering a scalable client/server mode, allowing multiple clients to connect to a single OpenVPN server process over a single TCP or UDP port. OpenVPN 2.3 includes a large number of improvements, including full IPv6 support and PolarSSL support.
While this HOWTO will guide you in setting up a scalable client/server VPN using an X509 PKI (public key infrastruction using certificates and private keys), this might be overkill if you are only looking for a simple VPN setup with a server that can handle a single client.
