On the Verify the date and time settings page, click Change system date and time settings to select the date, time, and time zone settings for your server. When you are finished, click Next.
If you are installing Windows Server Essentials on a virtual machine, make sure that you choose the same time zone settings that are being used by the host operating system. If the time zone settings differ, the server installation might not succeed.
After the installation finishes, you are automatically logged on to the server with the new administrator account that you added during installation. The built-in Administrator account password is set to the same password as the new administrator account, and then the built-in Administrator account is disabled.
You can use your newly installed server for a limited amount of time (known as the evaluation period) without entering a product key. You can also run Apache via the shortcut Start Apache in Console placed to Start Menu --> Programs --> Apache HTTP Server 2.4.xx --> Control Apache Server during the installation. Because Apache cannot share the same port with another TCP/IP application, you may need to stop, uninstall or reconfigure certain other services before running Apache. These conflicting services include other WWW servers, some firewall implementations, and even some client applications (such as Skype) which will use port 80 to attempt to bypass firewall issues.
Is there some additional config that I need to make to the server to make Server 2022 installation work? Or should I boot the iso directly and skip Intelligent Provisioning and install drivers afterwards?
Speaking to HP support now and the agent is stating that this server hardware does not support Server 2022. Now facepalming my hands and showing her links to the latest (Nov 05) SPP which clearly lists it. Come on HP normally these servers are really good.
I tried to install Telnet Client feature using Server Manager in a Windows Server 2016 and now is completely stuck at running stage. Now I just want to cancel this but there is no option anywhere. Reboot is not an option. I googled for a solution and was not able to find anything useful. I have tried to run the installation on Powershell and it gets stuck at 20%, also removing it but is not listed obviously. I tried also to kill the "msiserver" task and restart Windows Installer. I found also a possible solution to rename the Server Manager cache registry. No results.
You may want to install a secure FTP server on Windows either as standalone file storage or to have means of editing your website hosted on IIS (Internet Information Services) web server. While the internal Windows firewall is automatically configured to open FTP ports when FTP server is installed, this change does not seem to apply, until FTP service is restarted. The same is true for changing data channel port range.
