The pop-up blocker in your browser keeps most sites from opening pop-up windows while you browse the Internet. However, some web applications, including eProtocol IACUC, eProtocol IBC, and eProtocol FID, require that your web browser is configured to allow pop-ups in order to function properly. Step-by-step instructions on how to change pop-up blocker settings for the most popular web browsers are provided below.

Pop-up windows, or pop-ups, are windows that appear automatically without your permission. They vary in size, but usually don't cover the whole screen. Some pop-ups open on top of the current Firefox window, while others appear underneath Firefox (pop-unders).

When you visit a Mozilla website, sometimes you'll see a pop-up asking you to participate in a survey. The only third-party that Mozilla ever uses for surveys is Alchemer (formerly SurveyGizmo), which has been vetted by our legal and privacy teams. The Firefox pop-up blocker doesn't block these pop-ups.

The problem is that the browser's popup blocker blocks this and I need allow the browser to open it.I want to avoid this and that every one that will use my web application won't need to allow the popup blocker to open the page. I want to pass the popup blocker and open the page without permission.

Many users have pop-up blockers running on there computers which block new windows from opening. Several links on the FTA website open documents and other websites in new windows which can cause issues if a popup blocker is installed on your computer. To be able to use the FTA site effectively, users may either disable the pop-up blocker or set the pop-up blocker to allow the new windows to open.

Many popup blockers can by temporarily disabled by holding the Control key on the keyboard while clicking the link of the page that is attempting to open in a new window. The procedures to disable popup blockers are different depending on the software. Look for help files in your pop-up blocker for instructions, or look for menus or buttons on the toolbar that will allow you to uninstall or disable the blocker. Some programs require that you remove them completely.

Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox all come with a pop-up blocker, which must be configured to allow Blackboard Learn to use pop-up windows. If you have an external pop-up blocker, such as the Google Toolbar, please see the section on configuring external pop-up blockers for Blackboard Learn.

Please Note: Many anti-virus programs also include pop-up blockers which can interfere with applications such as Blackboard Learn. If you have configured your browser to allow pop-ups or have them turned off and still have issues with pop-up windows consult your anti-virus documentation for allowing pop-up windows.

Most web browsers include a feature to block pop-up windows. While this may eliminate unwanted or bothersome pop-up windows, the feature sometimes can impede the functionality of legitimate or useful websites.

Some popular Penn-affiliated websites requiring pop-ups include U@Penn and the Penn Online Directory.

Follow the instructions below to configure your web browser to allow pop-up windows for your selected websites.

Note: If you have installed third party applications to block pop-ups (examples include the Google, MSN, and Yahoo! toolbars), be sure to consult the vendor documentation to allow pop-up windows for desired websites.

When a website attempts to launch a new pop-up window, you may see dialog boxes alerting you of pop-up windows that have been blocked. Follow the instructions below to allow pop-up windows on a per-website basis.

I have one trick to avoid ad detection, which may be a little bit of an annoying task. Here is what I found :
1 . Keep open the youtube in the main window with an account signed in, an adblocker removed,
2. Open a private window,
3. Copy the link of the video which you want to see from the main window to the private window, and enjoy without ads!

Happens regularly because currently Google is changing filters daily to counter adblockers. We fix them as soon as we can, may require a manual update in brave://components to get the most recent fix faster.

Visiting the main page of MSN .com even using Malwarebytes Browser Guard and uBlock Origin Ad-blockers still fails to 100% stop all Ads but you can see that both blockers are working overtime. Each have blocked in excess of 1,500 Ads and Trackers bent on gathering information about your browsing habits.
