Dear Colleagues,
I apologize for the spam messages, that is the one's from Sal's account with a blank subject line and a link in the body of the message. If you receive messages that fit this description, please delete them. Authentic messages from Sal generally contain a subject line and usually have prose in the body, not just a link.
To remedy this I've done two things: (1) for the interim, I've the Tristan group's messages as moderated, which means that I will need to review messages before allowing them to post; and (2) I've run virus software on Sal's laptop, and am taking other measures to make certain his machines are all right. Sal may use another account to send e-mail until this is fixed. Sorry for any problems. Please be understanding of Sal, since he was not aware that this was happening. Unfortunately it also sends text messages to my phone, which costs each time, so I am definitely motivated to help!
