Dear members of the Tristan Society,

As promised, I have developed a small website for the Society than can
grow as large as collaboration and willpower allow. The link below will
take you to the site, where you will see a general layout, one news
item, and suggestions on each page for content. I'm looking toward all
of you to provide me with things you think might be of use, e.g., links,
lists, news and events, artwork, etc. I will coordinate the website
content with the new Facebook page.

As we progress, this could draw a great deal more attention to our work
and activities.

Is that link correct? It mentions the 2004 Congress and my name is wrong: I use James, not Jim in professional communication. Also, I could not anything for our Google group, which is the center of communication right now.

You may choose to selectively ingest material from aggregate sites such as:

They use the cover all of 'Where applicable, copyright remains with the respective original creators.' I suppose you'd have to follow your institutions' copyright/reference guidelines given the Tristan site is sitting under your academic (yet personally hosted?) website.

Until we have a test of the new site and consensus, please update the information you have. Again, the Google group information needs to be there, and the link is: https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/tristan-society 

The page Adam is proposing will not change the Google group page.

Otherwise, please remove the dated and wrong information now.
