X is a fictional character officially enrolled in Y University here in the United States.
Student Z conceived the idea of this character when he accidently received two enrollment forms from University Y.
Z signed X for the all the same classes, did his homeworks twice and also wrote exams , twice.
So much so, that X was listed in the Army, earned several degrees, gotten married, listed in the Basketball team - among other accomplishments.

Also, when Time Magazine was attempting to select their "Person of the Year " for 2001, X was the leading candidate (holding at least 57% of the votes) until the magazine removed him from the running.

Identify X, Y. Identify Z - if possible.

One more clue:  Students from Y university use X as a pen name sometimes if they dont want to reveal their original name :)
